VP, Chief of Research, Marketing & Communications Practice
Jennifer Polk is a Research Vice President and Chief of Research for the Marketing & Communications Practice at Gartner, Inc., a research and advisory firm. Ms. Polk is part of a team of experts that deliver research insights and advice to help Chief Marketing Officers, Chief Communication Officers and senior marketing executives deliver business growth by accelerating the adoption of digital marketing to engage customers, bring brand strategy to life, and transform their business.
Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Polk led a digital strategy and client service team at a full-service digital marketing agency, Edelman Digital, where she helped consumer brands develop and implement a variety of digital marketing strategies and led execution of integrated marketing campaigns. Previously, she held positions in social marketing, brand management and relationship marketing in retail and financial services companies like Sears Holdings Corporation and JP Morgan Chase.
Ms. Polk has spent nearly 20 years helping companies achieve their business growth goals through sales and marketing. She holds an MBA in Strategic Management from University of Chicago Booth School of Business, as well as a BS in Finance from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Ms. Polk lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband, three daughters, and their dog. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
